Something I read in another post on this board was that " Personality " is what is going to sell Sirius ( over xm ) more than anything else and I can visualize that happening. I had no intention of buying Sirius when it was announced Howard and more recently Brucie were going there, I have nothing against howard I just never followed him to Fm. i used to listen to him on am all the time and almost drove the car off the road from laughter a few times too when he did his NY NY song parody.
When Bruce Morrow went to Sirius that perked my interest again and i heard Norm N. was already on Sirius then another and another. I would not have gone Sirius for one single personality alone ( i dont think I would ) but now it seems like more will eventually turn up on Sirius ( wishful thinking here ) . It was like the Musicradio 77 WAbc chime time bell went off in my head saying ' sirius IS personality radio now and in the immediate future . That is the thought that finally sold me. I have all the music I could ever want, I can buy new music that appeals to me but that does not include the world class Air Personalities many of us have grown accoustomed to for so many years and yes that includes Howard Stern.
sirius radio is playing what " I " want to hear.
