Except most of what a classical station plays was recorded in the last 20 years, even if the music was composed hundreds of years ago.
And of course, when we say "Adult Standards" today, we mean things like Sinatra, Streisand, The Carpenters, Neil Diamond, etc. We don't mean the Andrew Sisters or Cab Calloway.
Most of the songs played by a standards station today were recorded in the 60s, 70s and later.
