Just because the music has been re-recorded by current musicians doesn't change the fact that it's old, dated music. It's like having a current group singJust for a little while, the Tender Tones song. It's still an old song.

And the songs by artists you stated are not rosk and roll. They were middle of the road artists. Is it rock and roll/R&B that you think is less appealing to younger people than what otherwise would have to be described at pop music performed by non offensive, middle American, white artists? How about at least an Ella Fitzgerald in there?
