Just a question, Victor, and it is not a slight on you so Mike Riccio doesn't need to pop in to save your honor, just a rant:

Why did you mention Marc Sommers' actual name in your headline? Few people if any would know that Travis Ayres = Marc Sommers. Since his professional name is Marc Sommers - isn't that the draw to listen to Max?

The reason I ask is that I've seen newspapers and other media talking about radio personalities and they always want to put "real names" to the professional names. A good example locally? Opie & Anthony. I remember the first time (I think it was the Daily News) made sure that the reader knew that they were born Gregg Hughes & Anthony Cumia. Never understood that.

Yet no one ever wishes Bruce Morrow, L'shana Tova as Cousin Bruce Meyerowitz or remembers that they sat around listening to the radio as Rochester drove Benjamin Kubelsky around in his Maxwell.

Again, excuse my questioning...just an old rant. I always figured that if someone used a professional name in business, that was the name that they wanted out there.

BTW, L'shana Tova, Cousin Brucie!

Well the answer would be Max Kinkel is promoting the name Travis Ayres more then Marc Sommers on his show. Tune in an give it a listen.
