I disagree with you vic. I was born in March of 1983 and i always loved CBSFM and all the great oldies especially oldies from 50s, 60s & 70s. I am 22 years old now and I have desire to hear all the great oldies from all 3 decades including the song Indian Reservation from 1971 you mentioned, its one of my favorites. I liked the 1986 cbsfm and the 50s music that was in heavy rotation, i started listening to the radio when i was 3 to 4 yrs old the first kid to have a real radio and cbsfm was always my station 101.1. Believe It Or not, Some of my friends from High School also loved the 50s and 60s oldies too along with CBSFM. There was young people who loved 101.1 and the oldies that Infinity failed to see or didn't want to notice and turned their heads to the young crowds who only love rap or something. Yes the advertisers may want younger listeners with demos but when it comes down to it cbsfm had a younger audience too.
