YES, she had listened to CBS-FM her whole life and attended several events sponsored by the station. In fact, my daughter, a high school senior, went to the Rally in NYC. She is a huge oldies fan and had not listened to PLJ before, but now she is channel-surfing in the car -especially Sunday mornings when our local oldies station doesn't broadcast music until after 8am. The music might be similar to JACK, but there are live DJs. When the reception is good, she listens to 850! Other times it is 96.7.
My son, 21, prefers news and sports, but listened to 101.1 when he listened to music on the radio in the car and was within the broadcast area (he goes to school in Philadelphia). He actually prefers to listen to his CDs - Of course, he listens to many types of music besides older tunes.
