Yes Bob I remember you playing Patsy Cline yesterday. If there is enough demand maybe you could play every 3rd or 4th song on one show ( with a country flavor ) one of those cross over oldies. Late this afternoon I heard Rusty Potts play Kookie Kookie Lend Me Your Comb by Ed Byrnes ( Warner Bros ) I thought to myself, it just can't get any better than this. How many stations play these oldies anymore. Even if CBS-FM put the oldies back on now, with that limited playlist they had I think I'd stick with WLNG. A majority of the records I hear on there I have had for years but it is so much fun hearing them on the radio with the jingles, the personalities talk up the record etc. I find it hard to believe that it took CBS-FM OLDIES 101.1 going off the air for me ( and possibly many others ) to find this great station. Hope Connies voice has fully returned by now.
