Allan:
>>>Weekdays

6-10 AM Mike Fitzgerald. I'm guessing Harry Harrison doesn't want to wake up at 3 AM on a regular basis anymore. Mike was the Deputy Morning Mayor, and should take his place. Station management should also note that Jay Leno was only successful on the Tonight Show when he started to make it his show and not continue what Carson did before him. Fitzgerald's show should be put together the same way. He demonstrated strength in interacting with a team during the Dolenz show, so bring in Steve Somers of FAN with sports and Audrey Puente of channel 2 with the weather. The feminine touch could work here, and it cross-promotes the TV side. Even if Mr. G. would return from NEW, would seem too much like Mike doing Harry's show and not his own. That was a big part of Mike's problem before.<<<

Good suggestion. Can't disagree with you on that.

>>>10-3 Jay Sorenson. Jay and DT were the best at "Time Machine". Chances are DT doesn't want a seven-day week, so Jay gets the nod. When Jay does week-day fill-in work for the others, have celebrities take his place here.<<<

Why not Randy Davis/Dan Taylor and Bill Brown filling that timeslot. And move mid-day mornings to 9AM.

>>>3-8 PM Dan Ingram, with an actual WABC survey from 5-8.<<<

Even if Dan Ingram gets a reconciliation with the suits at Viacom/CBS, would he WANT to do it fulltime?

Put Bob Shannon back on from 3-7PM.

>>>6-10 PM. Bobby Jay. Souled Out at 6--all Motown. Hall of Fame, including interviews start at 7. Between this show and Bob/Empress, we could put a serious dent in index card sales.<<<

Bobby Jay on from 7-11P with the Hall of Fame including Thursday Night 60s and Friday Night 50s.

>>>10-2 Max Kinkel's Max-ed Out All-Request Show. Max talks and plays REAL requests--not just a listener asking for the next song on a computer-generated playlist.<<<

What about Don K. Reed who has been at the station for over 33 years. He desrves the 11P-2A shift.

Your weekend line-up sounds great. And with Ed Baer on with Dan Daniel would be a boost.

Thanks,
Kevin L. Sealy
