I echo many of the same sentiments as others--it was extremely gracious of Alan and Bob to provide this space at a time when there were few other outlets to vent our anger and express our emotions. A by-product is the education many of us recieved in learning about corporate control of radio, advertising revenues, demographics, formats, musical styles, Arbitron ratings and more. I first discovered this Board on June 3rd when I was desperate to share my feelings and express my sorrow and rage about what happened to WCBS-FM. By making many posts, I was abble to do that and I was always heartened people responded to my points and queries. I have a few new friends now; people I regularly communicate with about subjects which go far beyond radio and format switches. I am grateful this Board allowed us to form a community. Perhaps what happened on June 3 was "bashert" and some really good things will result. Time will tell.
