While "Jack" (the "Guy on the front of a Bus") will crash and burn in our memories, you can bet on each and every follower of this Board to have superior recollections of the REAL PEOPLE who entertained and informed us for tens of thousands of our lifetime hours.
Keeping the flame alive is essential to the mission of restoring greatness to New York radio...and our prayers will be answered.
Yeah, I miss the legends (Triple "D", Ingram, Baer, Bruce, Harry) and the relative newcomers like Mike McCann, an "A" student of Musicology-101!...but through this special Board have found some reasonable options. Bob Shannon @ 'LNG, Tom Donahue/SNARP on "KB" Saturday nights, MTR and the numerous web addresses offering gold nuggets of long-ago airchecks.
Thanks to all for this forum...I may lurk more than write, but care nonetheless.

PS - Upon closer examination, that really is JACK SPECTOR (from an ancient issue of "GO" Magazine) on the front of the bus!
