my apologies to you, Jim; I just downloaded "Special Lady" (the LONG version, NO LESS!) from Rhapsody.com, and you were right - it's DEFINITELY an acappella fade...but I LOVE IT!! (now I'm downloading "Inside of You" - when Ray, Goodman, and Brown was popular in the early 80's, it was the roller disco era, and where I was hanging out at the Roll-a-Palace on Sheepshead Bay Road in Brooklyn, the DJ there was ALWAYS playing "Special Lady" - along with Larry Graham's "One in a Million You" - LOVE IT!!)
