"Bridge Over Troubled Water" by Simon and Garfunkel wasn't too shabby (although it's predecessor, "Bookends" was my favorite of theirs)
"The Papa and the Mamas" *should* have been the Mamas and the Papas' final album. It was excellent, but I think that they were contractually obligated to release another one, so they did "Grasshopper," which was pretty bad. John Phillips was heavily addicted to heroin by then, and the magic had left them anyway, with all the personal problems between members.
