While Abbey Road was the last recorded album by the Beatles, Let It Be was released eight months after.
Since Let It Be was not considered to be the Beatles' best (although it had at least three hit tracks: Get Back, Let It Be and The Long and Winding Road) it was used by many as proof that the Beatles were disintegrating at the end. But this was wrong because it was recorded before the amazing Abbey Road.
