Hearing Rod Stewart's "You Wear it Well" today -- with the line, "I don't object if you call collect" -- I realized there are plenty of lyrics that cause today's teenagers to go, "WTF is he talking about?"
Two examples: Ernie Mareska's "Put another dime in the record machine" and Elvis's "No such number -- no such zone." And the entire concept of "YMCA" must be alien to kids growing up in 2008.
I'm sure the loyal listeners who frequent this board can come up with many other great examples.
