Under the current copyright laws, recording artists are entitled to public performance royalties when they are played on "New media" platforms: Internet, satellite, etc. (Does not apply to terrestrial radio or TV.)
The agency authorized to collect these royalties, Sound Exchange, has a list of unregistered artists.
Click on Unregistered List and then Featured Artist List.
I contacted some of the artists many months ago and received no response from them and they are still on the unregistered list.
