Actually it's even more interesting if you go into detail.
"I Say A Little Prayer" was a TOP-TEN hit by Dionne Warwick and then a TOP-TEN hit by Aretha Franklin, peaking at #4 and #6 in those respective versions.
The flipside of Dionne's recording was "(Theme From) Valley Of The Dolls" and it made the national top 40 THREE MONTHS after "Prayer" did! I think the motion picture's popularity (despite critical pans) had something to do with that!
In contrast, the flipside of Aretha's recording, called "The House That Jack Built," moved up the chart at the same time that "Prayer" was moving up.
As for "I Sat A Little Prayer" .....
A great Bacharach-David song and TWO great recordings!
