It's a usual 6:00PM until 10:00PM show tonight, probably, but as usual nothing is usual!
Tonight's special in house guest will be Rich Appel. You've seen his posts, you've read his column, tonight you'll hear him again on the radio.
He'll have with him a number of audio selection to share and be talking about his next edition of his publication, "Hz. So Good", out in September, plus much more!
With all this we'll certainly have at least 6 hours of assorted goodies to jam into those 4 hours.
We'll try to squeeze in some great requests, including some leftovers from last week.
Normally requests are encouraged. Especially for those rare gems you haven't heard in 40 years! But to keep this board from becoming a "request board", I think it would be a good idea, in addition to posting your request list, tell us why you'd like me to play the song(s) and what the song(s) may mean to you. Perhaps you can tell us what stations played it and when you last heard it on the radio.
It can be anything from 1960 to 1979. Top 40, bottom 40, AOR, MOR... It's all fair game! 98% of the Billboard Hot 100 plus some bubblers, R&B stuff, and UK chart stuff. Many LP cuts are also available. If I don't have it with me I'll put it on the list and try to get it for a future show. We're all over the bleepin' place, musically speaking.
