Yes, the Primettes did have one release, "Tears Of Sorrow" (pictured above) backed with "Pretty Baby" (Lupine #120).
But despite when the Primettes' songs were recorded, the sides were never released until after the Supremes had made a name for themselves on Motown in 1962. The Supremes had two earlier releases on the Tamla label beginning in April, 1961.
