The approach taken by Brian Thomas for CBS-FM is obviously different than that of the previous program director and that of the Hollanders.
Dan Mason now CEO of CBS Radio is a former broadcaster. Joel Hollander came from sales. I think Mason's background and his understanding of radio didn't hurt.
Also going from $30 million to $16 million kind of told them something needed to be done too.
