Good catch on the language, Barry, but no, I don't work for the station. I was adopting the language I use when I get immersed in my own clients' business issues when our typical partnership is one in which we feel very, and personally, connected to our clients' success or failures. Often, our compensation is based on such business results, so we feel connected to our clients on a financial dimension as well.
In this case, I took on the language without thinking because, I suppose, I feel like all of us are part of the CBS-FM experience and all of us have such a stake in CBS-FM's success. But I should have worded things differently, saying "they'll abandon them" and "prospects who have rejected them," etc. throughout the post. Thanks for bringing the error to my attention and giving me a chance to clarify it.
