It was the experts, experts, experts reading from the MBA college textbooks applying formulaic scientific numerology that works in Kinnebunk, Idaho or Los Angeles, CA and applying it to NY!
They probably droned on at the bored meetings in Charlie Brown wah-wah adult-speak just whittling down song after song to what got the highest numbers in america being that this is a science and a business, not some emotional stupidity.
Hopefully they are seeing more and more that the "earth is flat" theory has GOT to be taken out of the college broadcasting textbooks, and replaced with "the earth is round, and not the same everywhere".
