i'm an air personality & also a PD of an "oldies"/Classic hits station and have been for quite a few years now, i'm amazed! its like you've never heard a station like this in your life! there are probably a thousand stations like cbs and most are streaming audio on their web sites 24/7, do you or have you listened to any other stations on the web that you've liked? my station is a long way from NYC and we have people logging on from NY. we've been playing this kind of music for over nearly 20 years
and we do quite well ratings wise. but i'm amazed at the level of "Active" radio users who seem to hang on every aspect of this radio station. my guess is that there are more "radio" professionals posting than "real folk" here. i guess after all the years we've been doing it i can't expect my listeners to wet themselves every time we play a song, like whats happening in NYC now. but, i'm happy you guys got your "music back" its good for radio & the format in general.
