the radio world would be better off if it ignored demogrphics, focus groups and just played the Greatest Hits of All time! you can believe what you want, but ignore these people who want to hear a few hits from the 50's at your peril (because like it or not, they are the "core" of this audience) "superserve" them or, write em' off, and you might be left with a fraction of the audience.
if 50's music keeps comming up over and over again there must be a reason, you can't go wrong when you listen to the people. so don't dismiss them alan. by the way where's the evidence that people are passionate for the 80'& 90's? i wouldn't bet my life on it! we'll find out this fall won't we.
