According to off the top of my head, Rick was moved to AM and was paired with Ru Paul, when Paco Lopez came from KTU in August, 2004. Frankie Blue was fired as PD in January 2005, and Rick Martini was hired. During the "Blue" and Martini administrations there was a lot that happened at the Mix. Michelle was hired, and it was Michelle, Ru Paul, and Rick. Then, Rick was out (you could hear the dynamics everyday, right on the radio! - Rick was great, but a careful listener couldn't help but get the sense that he was getting a very raw deal), and the morning show was Michelle and Ru Paul.
From what I understand, Michelle and Ru Paul was a KTU Frankie Blue morning team, and Rick Martini decided to go with Michelle and Joe Causi. This was a surprise, to say the least. Joe is a professional and worked very well with Michelle, and that was the the Mix Morning Show until about a month until the station flipped to WWFS.
