Oh yeah? According to freewebs.com, in the last few days, WCBS-FM has played:
"I Think I Love You" by The Partridge Family
"Love Grows Where My Rosemary Goes" by Edison Lighthouse
"Seasons In The Sun" by Terry Jacks
"Knock Three Times" by Dawn
and countless others that may qualify as "bubble gum".
Unfortunately for you, Madonna was an ultra successful artists who sold millions of records and millions of concert tickets throughout the 80's. And her sound is "pop" enough" to be heard on CBS-FM. To me, Madonna is more "pop" than "Owner of A Lonely Heart" by Yes, which CBS-FM does play.
