>>>It is equally well known that he has been given an open invitation to return to WCBS-FM.<<<

There you go again. Making statements that are not true. You do NOT know this so don't state something you don't know about under the guise of "it's equally well known". It's NOT.

>>>He's made enough millions in successful radio ownership, along with a unique perspective on his NY fans to have an opinion that holds more weight than yours or mine (especially with my supposed lack of intuitiveness).<<<

He made money purchasing and selling radio stations. That had NOTHING to do with programming them. You're trying to use an apples argument to make an oranges point.

Regardless, do you really think that Bruce is the only person who knows there are fifties music fans? Don't you think EVERYONE knows that? That's not the point.

The point is that most of those fans are older and advertisers won't buy time on a radio station that has mostly older listeners. If CBS-FM takes your advice, JACK will be back faster than you can say "Doo Wop".

>>> but the subject will never stop coming up on WCBS-FM's own message board<<<

Yeah, that's great. Make a mess of the CBS-FM Board because they don't have a lunatic like me to minimize this kind of nonsense. Pat yourself on the back for taking something that should be a fun thing for the fans and threatening to make a mess of it with some kind of Internet extortion.

People have asked why this Board has been a success. Well folks, here's the secret. Keep people like Larry from wrecking it with this kind of behavior. In his zeal to hammer away at his point of view, he's suggesting he's going to make a mess of the CBS-FM board. That's why Internet forums need moderators.

>>>Sorry WCBS-FM. It won't go away. <<<

You keep at it Larry. Take a fun thing and wreck it. Good for you. You're giving fifties music fans a bad name.
