CBS-Fm is finding a wonderful way of adding to the playlist, blending in more 60's with 70's and 80's and even a gem like "Alley Oop".
It's testimony to the smart use of music rotation ("A", "B", "C", cuts etc.) and day-parting the music, something even Rick Sklar did back in the day.
It was wonderful hearing "Good Lovin'", "Ma Belle Amie" and "Who Can It Be Now" back to back to back.
And it was even MORE wonderful NOT to hear what many dj's feel is obligatory...filling the false ending gap in the Young Rascals song with some line that's supposed to be clever and funny (e.g. "This space for rent"), or a tired old comment about "Ma Belle Amie" being "Ralph's mother".
That's why Bob is a personality and an entertainer , and not just a dj. There's a world of difference.
And Bob, if you EVER use any of the above lines, I'll never speak to you again!
