No, I didn't "dis" it, I just said it was tired.
I laughed as hard as anyone when I heard it for the first time in 1970. And the second time, and the third time, and the fourth time. By the mid 1970's it was getting old.
Hearing every wannabe dj in the nation use it in the last 37 years is a bit much.
So yes, using it now in my opinion is silly, and tiring, and boring.
