I was up at Brucie's Saturday night show on CBS-FM in October, 1983. He seemed to have a lot of leeway within the format. The night I was there, he was getting tons of phone requests and we were pulling them and he was playing them as quickly as posdsible. It was as close as you could get to an all request show.
