Another music station started fighting with CBS FM around 9:00PM. It came in very loudly, but not clear enough for me to be able to distinguish words, so I couldn't tell which station it was. The sound was driving me crazy, so I actually had to turn off the radio.
I didn't know until I read the relevant board discussions that this phenomenon occurs with the FM portion of the spectrum. I did know about TV signals, however, and had learned that it was related to sun spot activity, which I have been able to check against the sun's 22 year cycle.
Gosh, I find this stuff very interesting, and I learn a lot from you guys. :o)
