Seem he is doing th same things on TV too.. per the Daily News...
"WPIX veteran Irv (Mr. G) Gikofsky couldn't have been more out of place yesterday when he filled in for Linda Church on the "CW11 Morning News."
At one point, while trying, badly, to make small talk with Emily Frances, Sukanya Krishnan and John Muller, he simply read from his script that he was to throw to Julie Chang.
"G, you're such a smooth operator," Chang joked. "I like that transition. 'Toss to Julie.'"
