When that happened, Harry used to give subtle on-air hints to Mr. G at the start of his segment. It was usually something like "We have 30 seconds of weather from Mr. G."
Dan Taylor may want to start doing the same thing. It's his job as morning man to play traffic cop between the news, weather, traffic and music and getting the commercial load in. When Mr. G. got that signal from Harry, he respected it.
