Correct - a whopping 3 hours on a Sunday morning that goes deep into Elvis history. Every show has a spotlight theme and is a great mix of favorites, concert tracks and unreleased material. The key here is "Sunday morning", not exactly drive time. But the many Elvis fans are up and listening. The show has a great following. I realize that my arguement here is up against a crop of people who probably dislike Elvis, link him to the 50's only and think that three hours will ruin the station. Elvis and Friends has won several awards for being the most listened to show in the Delaware Valley. Ron Cade also produces live shows with top-notch Elvis tribute artists, and every show is a sellout. I know, I've been to many of them. But if you dislike Elvis (and my feeling is that a lot of people on this board do) then you don't want this show on CBS-FM. It may not work the same in New York as it does in Philly, Chicago and Lansing. But we may never find out either.
