Considering the present focus of CBS-FM, it would only be appropriate to play Elvis songs from the mid-to late 60's thru the 1970's of his songs, with an occasional dip into his earlier period. I doubt the choices could fill more than an hour show (much less a three hour show) for more than a few weeks.
Considering his most popular period was his earlier days, it would be fruitless to focus on him for the sake of playing "Elvis Songs", and not stress this earlier period, which by present rules would be limited to one, or two at best in the time period allotted.
Personally I think that focusing on any ONE Artist for more than three songs in a row would be downright BORING. As popular as he was, playing ONLY his songs for one to three hours would be torture to those who are indifferent to him (not to a point of dislike, though it could lead to that). I'd imagine it would eventually get to even a FANaddict of Elvis, though maybe not as quickly. But, again, that's just my opinion.
