That may or may not be true.
The bigger issue is that, in this specific case where CBS-FM is trying to change its image of being a "fifties music" station, it must be very careful when it comes to a show that inevitably will feature lots of fifties music.
CBS-FM must *first* convince younger listeners they're going to hear newer hits (seventies, eighties). Once that branding has sunk in then, maybe, some specialty shows that go back to older eras can be featured. We're still in the early phases so you have to be patient for the process to move forward.
