In the cab with the windows open one night, to let the breeze blow through my Private Vanderbilt glasses, the music of Bobby Freeman's 'Do You Wanna Dance' rocked some rowdy young-punk intersection at a stoplight for several dumbstruck seconds. Heads turned. Hee-hee-hee.
Drove around one night with a girlfriend, playing what she thought was the radio but was a casette of WIFI 92 in Philly I'd timed fairly well for the daypart. She, in fact, was a DXer as well.
Well, I *mostly* timed it fairly well.
The jock did a plug for their big contest, which was writing down all the Beatles songs you heard 'between now and November'. We were driving in March.
'Until NOVEMBER?!?!?' was her reaction.
