I was too busy listening to the show to post. I have no other excuse. :o)

I had some thoughts about a couple of songs:

The Drifters "On Broadway": I don't know the main singer's name, but he sure had a phenomenal tenor voice! I love the way he let his voice slide and hold on those "on Broadway" notes from the bottom of his chest register. Amazing vocal control! He was a much better singer than the one who did the more recent version. BTW, on some of these songs that I haven't heard in years, it's really striking me just how young these voices sound.

Zombies "Time of the Season": Pat played a different version, i.e., no echo, percussion was more in the forefront, double keyboard counterpoint at end. It was the first time I ever heard all the lyrics clearly! LOL! I really like this version.
