I am probably a more typical lsitener than most people on this Board and certainly not as knowledgeable as most who post here.
When I hear the beginning of a song, I say "WOW" "I haven't heard that in years" or "I love that song".
Then I just hear the song and don't lsiten.
To use a phase that Allan used earlier "comfort food for the ears".
That is waht WCBS.FM is to me and , long or short,it doesn't matter to me, it's wonderful.
