I think you would see more people expressing their disagreement with this if rap songs were added to the playlist on CBS-FM. They would be even more vocal than the fans of hearing more songs from the '50s are.
The last thing CBS-FM needs are negative responses from the audience they are doing everything to keep listening. Although there are good songs from the early days of rap, I think this idea if implemented would get to many angry in the long run.
