I really can't believe that on the only viable station that should play some great Elvis sides, Ricky Nelson, Fats Domino, Doo Wops and a good chunk of 60's British Invasion we are discussing Rap. This is what happens when an "oldies" station modernizes for young listeners. You give them an arm and they want the whole torso! There are plenty of great 80's cuts that can be played to fulfill a quota from this decade without getting into Rap or "Twisted Sister" type stuff. Examples? The Police, Elton John, Billy Joel, Culture Club, The Stray Cats, George Michael, The Commodores, Whitney Houston, etc.
RAP ON CBS-FM - absolutely ridiculous!
