I'd have to agree... KJOY 98.3 on Long Island is an example of a station that successfully voice tracks some shifts on weekends. I suspect it is more about the machine and how well it is utilized than anything else.

On the other hand I am not sure why they have not come up with enough jocks to handle all shifts live. You expect KJOY to voice track, you don't expect that of a major market CBS station station.

I also have to wonder who some of these people are who have been allowed to go on the air at CBS-FM and why. Rewards for loyalty and hard work? The station goes from the elegance and style of a Pat St. John or Bob Shannon to some people who make it sound like the middle of an AFTRA strike. Not good. And not necessary.
