From what I've heard of Jeff on overnights it sounds like a simple setting change on the VT would make a huge difference.
You can set the amount of time you can hear the start and ends of songs and thereby interact with the music within that span rather than only talking between songs. The way I hear Jeff makes it sound like a cart with his voice is being fired between songs. He sounds totally distant from the music.
The question becomes whether the problem is the absense of this setting or is this the desired set up Jeff or the bosses want.
