It was really cool today to hear the Beach Boys' song "Heroes and Villians". I had never heard this song before. I am so pleased to see that you are working on integrating some "deeper cuts" into the playlist!
With all due respect, I am sure that some of our compadres will be quick to complain that this song isn't a "deep enough" cut. However, for me, the oldies "new guy" with only about 14 years or so of following the music, this song was brand new! It is clear that you are really trying to freshen up the "classic hits" with some hit tunes that have been overlooked by oldies radio in the past. I think that this type of integration will appeal to a good number of music lovers who may not be amateur musicologists:)
I'm thinking that Andrea really has it right -- "The Best Is Yet To Come" - in my humble opinion, the music mix is getting better and better. Keep it up:)
