>>>Not that I saw and since you can't substantiate it, you shouldn't be quoting it as fact.<<<

In other words, if I distinctly remembered something I heard, saw, or read in the news, then I can't quote it. And I can't even paraphrase unless I have the acttual 1999 newspaper clipping in my pocket? Doesn't make much sense Allan. But whatever.

>>>Keep in mind that Joe McCoy is consulting The Breeze in New Jersey and they just did a Radio Greats Weekend. In fact, he was on the air with HOA, Ron Lundy and others. If it was true that he believed there were not enough legends available for CBS-FM to do such a weekend, do you think he reversed direction 180 degrees years later at "The Breeze"?<<<

Reversed direction 180 degrees? Possibly. I didn't hear any off the Breeze's Radio Greats weekend. But they had on Ron Lundy, Harry Harrison, Dan Ingram, Don K. Reed, Randy Davis, Herb Oscar Anderson, and a few others. According to their scheduled radio greats lineup as stated on the website, there was no mention of honoring Dean Anthony, Jack Spector, Chuck Leonard, Scott Muni, or any other deceased air personality. It seems that the "Breeze" had an updated version of the old Radio Greats weekend. The one that was popular on CBS-FM back in the 80's & 90's.
