I know that a lot of restoration work has been done on these airchecks - sometimes quite extensively, even to the point of inserting new recordings of the same songs. Marvelous work!

I would agree, since the show seems to place the DJ more in the here and now, as if he's doing a live shift. (Although, IMO, the era/style of the DJ should be taken more into account than they did for the playlist. Or else what's the sense of doing this in the first place?)

I was pointing out the difference between a voice tracked show such as this one, as opposed to the Rewound airchecks, so I see your comments as a continuation of mine.
