NO! No, No, No!! You have so many places to turn to for news. The news is like a bomb going off in the middle of a happy, upbeat sounding format. The city disater? The awful war? The boring way-too-early coverage of the Presidential race? The latest fire or shooting? The mindless,stupid sensationalism of Lindsay, Paris, or Posh and Becks?? Let's takes bets on which one would turn off more listeners. Please don't make comparisons to the former CBS-FM or the WABC way of doing things. For this station to succeed, consistency is the key. No news after morning drive. It's information overload. Hearing news in other dayparts goes about as well as using the internet while you are on vacation. The two should not mix.
