In spite of the various positive Lee responses below and elsewhere in this thread from his "family", Frank, I must agree with you.
His "j-j-j-jive talkin'" has caused me personally to tune out. I haven't listened in the afternoon to his show for a long while now due to his silly rhyming.
When Bob Shannon's show goes off, I'm gone.
The rhyming is more akin to "Sesame Street" than to a 2007 radio station.
