I have to believe that these weeks are planned and scheduled well in advance rather than week to week.
Perhaps it's too late but maybe this feature should not have been named "Radio Greats" but rather something like "Old New York Radio Friends". This might have lowered some of the expectations and would not have limited the guest appearances to "greats".
