"Just because Randy worked at CBS-FM over the last eight years of its run before JACK doesn't make him a radio great."

Not only is Randy Davis not a radio great, but neither are Don K. Reed, Bill Brown, Gary Clark, Mickey Dolenz, Mike Fitzgerald, Mike McCann, Steve O'Brien, Marc Summers, or Holly Levis. It's amazing that there are actually people on this Board who are so nostalgic for anyone and anything associated with the old CBS-FM that they actually think of those jocks as greats and continuously call for the return of some or all of them to CBS-FM. Some of them are solid but generic jocks, but none of them should have any aura of greatness attached to them.

Of all the jocks who worked at CBS-FM who are not currently employed there, only Dan Ingram, Cousin Brucie, Ron Lundy, Harry Harrison, and Dan Daniel could be truly considered radio greats, with Bobby Jay and Max Kinkel perhaps on the fringes of greatness based on their overall body of work both at other stations and at CBS-FM.
