I'm telling you that musical tastes, for whatever reason change more rapidly in this day and age than they did years ago. Sure I prefer the 50's and 60's, but I'm not using my own preferences in the case that I'm trying to make. I can use my own son and daughter as examples. Cd's that they purchased a few years ago don't even get played or listened to any more. This is true with a lot of today's music. Maybe you're right. maybe I'm not the right person to make this statement. I walked away from collecting the music in about 1989 because I didn't like it anymore. It was strictly for kids and did nothing for me. But I still think the memory value of today's music fades fast.
